I'm *pretty* sure everything will fit into the trailer. As long as we pack very carefully (like a tetris game) and use all the space in our two cars and my parents' truck. And make a few more trips to Goodwill. My parents are coming tonight and we are getting the trailer tomorrow morning and it all begins. I'm looking forward to when we actually leave Monday. I have a lot of goodbyes to make between now and then, and it will be sad to leave our little house where we lived so cheaply and had so much fun. But once the trip starts I know it will be a fun adventure in itself.
Anja doesn't really seem to care at all about the packing. It just means we have more visitors than usual and there is a lot more stuff to play with (boxes, wrapping material, etc). She's having fun:
And she did take some time to watch football yesterday with Dad:
I will try to update the blog each night on our drive to California, but I can't make any promises. If we have internet, I will at least put up a few pictures since it only takes a minute or two. I'll try to post our tentative itinerary before we leave for anyone who wants to follow our progress. We are driving a south route to avoid the worst of the mountain snow, but we may still hit some bad weather. We are hoping to stop by the Grand Canyon on our way out since we are passing right by it, but it will depend on the road conditions when we get there.
